Staff Fullstack Software Engineer (React + AWS Serverless)

We’re looking for a Staff Fullstack Software Engineer who thrives at the intersection of frontend excellence and cloud-native backend architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and build modern fullstack applications using React and AWS serverless technologies.
• Design and implement event-driven, microservices-based architectures.
• Develop high-quality frontend experiences using React and Sig.js.
• Build scalable backend systems using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and Step Functions.
• Define and implement secure, scalable IAM policies and cloud architectures.
• Partner with Product, Design, and Engineering to deliver high-impact solutions.
• Lead technical discussions, influence architecture decisions, and promote best practices.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
• Ensure observability, reliability, and performance using tools like CloudWatch and CloudTrail.

✅ Must-have Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in software engineering (fullstack).
• Advanced English level (strong communication with global teams).

Frontend:

• Strong experience with React
• Experience building applications with Sig.js

Backend / Cloud (Critical for this role):

• AWS Solution Architect expertise (Certification strongly preferred / required)
• Deep hands-on experience with:
• API Gateway
• AWS Lambda
• Step Functions
• IAM Policies (security and permissions design)
• Strong programming skills in Python
• Experience designing microservices architectures
• Strong understanding of event-driven systems

Observability & Operations:

• Experience with CloudWatch / CloudTrail
• Understanding of monitoring, logging, and system reliability

⭐ Nice-to-have

• AI Tooling Proficiency: Leverage AI tools to enhance development workflows, including coding assistants, documentation, and automation. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and delivery through AI.
• Experience working in high-scale distributed systems
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Experience mentoring engineers or leading technical initiatives
• Exposure to domain-driven design (DDD) or serverless-Primero architectures
