Key Responsibilities

• Act as the strategic bridge between ML/AI technical teams and business stakeholders, translating complex machine learning concepts into actionable business insights.
• Interpret outputs from predictive, classification, and NLP models and convert them into executive-level recommendations with clear business context.
• Communicate technical ML metrics such as Precision, Recall, AUC-ROC, SHAP values, and model drift to non-technical audiences through reports, dashboards, and presentations.
• Participate in model review sessions alongside Data Scientists to validate the business relevance and impact of model outcomes.
• Write advanced SQL queries and Python scripts to extract, transform, and analyze data from multiple data sources.
• Use Databricks for data exploration, KPI validation, ad hoc analysis, and querying datasets through Databricks SQL and notebooks.
• Identify trusted data sources, validate data lineage, understand governance rules, and distinguish between locally calculated metrics and officially governed KPIs.
• Design and maintain strategic dashboards to monitor business KPIs and ML model performance in production environments.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify opportunities for new AI and ML use cases across the organization.
• Partner with business stakeholders and technical teams to define success metrics and prioritize AI/ML initiatives based on business impact.
• Contribute to analytical governance by ensuring data integrity, consistency, traceability, and documentation standards across reporting and analytical workflows.

Must-have Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, AI/ML analytics, or related roles.
• Strong experience translating technical AI/ML concepts into business-oriented insights and executive presentations.
• Advanced SQL and Python skills for data analysis, transformation, and exploratory analytics.
• Hands-on experience using Databricks for querying, validation, and analytical workflows.
• Strong understanding of machine learning concepts, model evaluation metrics, and production monitoring practices.
• Experience building dashboards and data visualizations for business and operational decision-making.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate data anomalies and root causes.
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to present findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders, including leadership audiences.
• Ability to operate effectively in cross-functional environments involving Data Science, Engineering, Product, and Business teams.

Nice-to-have:

• Experience working with NLP, predictive analytics, or AI-driven products and initiatives.
• Familiarity with data governance, lineage, and KPI standardization practices.
• Executive Presence: Comfort presenting to VPs and C-level executives.
• Visual Literacy: Strong understanding of visualization best practices, including Gestalt principles and cognitive load reduction techniques.
• AI Tooling Proficiency: Leverage one or more AI tools to optimize and augment day-to-day work, including drafting, analysis, research, or process automation. Provide recommendations on effective AI use and identify opportunities to streamline workflows.
