Job Summary

The Information Security Engineer is highly skilled with deep expertise in Incident Response (IR) and Threat Intelligence (TI) to enhance and mature our security operations capability. This role leads efforts to detect, investigate, contain, and remediate sophisticated cyber threats while proactively identifying emerging adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) to strengthen our defensive posture.

This role collaborates across Security, Infrastructure, and Engineering teams to drive response activities, improve threat visibility, and develop actionable intelligence that improves our detection and response capabilities.

About the Role

Incident Response:

• Lead and coordinate technical response to cybersecurity incidents across endpoints, cloud, and network environments
• Perform forensic investigation and root cause analysis
• Develop containment, eradication, and recovery strategies
• Conduct post-incident reviews and produce detailed incident reports
• Improve and maintain incident response playbooks and runbooks
• Support tabletop exercises and red/blue/purple team activities

Threat Intelligence:

• Collect, analyze, and operationalize threat intelligence from internal and external sources
• Track adversary TTPs using frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK
• Produce tactical, operational, and strategic intelligence reports
• Develop and tune detection rules based on emerging threats
• Maintain IOC lifecycle management and intelligence feeds
• Partner with SOC and detection engineering teams to enhance detection coverage

Engineering & Continuous Improvement:

• Develop and automate detection use cases
• Improve logging, telemetry, and forensic readiness
• Integrate threat intelligence into SIEM, EDR, SOAR, and cloud platforms
• Evaluate new security technologies and recommend improvements

Skills & Experience

• Experience: 3-5 years in Information Security, Cybersecurity, or Incident Response
• Education: Bachelor/University Degree
• Certifications: GIAC GCIA, GCIH, GCFA, GCTI, CISSP, Security+
• Language: Fluent reading, writing, and speaking in English. All resumes need to be submitted in English
• Strong understanding of threat actor methodologies and cyber kill chain models
• Hands-on experience with SIEM, EDR, and forensic tools
• Experience investigating endpoint compromise, cloud account takeover, lateral movement and persistence, and data exfiltration
• Familiarity with scripting (Python, PowerShell, or Bash) for automation
• Experience with log analysis across Windows, Linux, and cloud platforms
• Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Knowledge of malware analysis techniques
• Experience building detection engineering pipelines
• Exposure to threat intelligence platforms and IOC automation
