1.Objective of the Puesto

Implement, lead and oversee the national Último mile logistics operations for the e-commerce delivery business, ensuring efficient, cost-effective, and high-quality parcel deliveries through a new operative model; third-party REGIONAL logistics vendor(LSPs) across all Mexican states.

This Puesto ensures on-time delivery performance, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement in alignment with Empresa growth, cost savings and las mile delivery service standards.

2.Main Strategic Responsibilities

3PL Vendor Management

• Manage and monitor on field and remote the Regional LSP providers responsible for national parcel pickup and delivery for regions.
• Ensure full compliance with contractual agreements LSA, SLA and NDA. Which SLAs and KPIs (on-time delivery SLA=P95, proof of delivery, NDRS´s & close loops incident resolution, cost efficiency).
• Lead weekly performance reviews and quarterly business reviews (WBR/QBRs) with vendors.
• Track and follow up on claims, incidents, and delivery exceptions.

Operational Execution

• Supervise daily order dispatch, tracking, and delivery performance through digital dashboards.
• Coordinate escalation and resolution of delivery issues with internal and external stakeholders.
• Support reverse logistics (returns) processes to maintain a positive customer experience.
• Align daily operations with cut-off times, inventory readiness, and order cycle time goals.

Continuous Improvement & Cost Efficiency

• Identify process optimization and route improvement opportunities in the Último mile network.
• Propose cost-saving initiatives while maintaining service quality.
• Support the implementation of new delivery models (same-day, Sig-day, lockers, PUDO´s points, etc).
• Benchmark and assess alternative 3PL partners and technologies.

Data & Performance Analytics

• Develop and maintain reports and dashboards (KPI tracking, cost performance, delivery times).
• Analyze trends to detect bottlenecks and service gaps.
• Provide insight-driven recommendations to leadership for strategic decision-making.

Compliance & Safety

• Ensure the vendor operates within legal, fiscal, and corporate compliance frameworks.
• Maintain documentation related to vendor contracts, audits, and delivery performance.

3.Skills and Competencies

• Proven vendor management and negotiation experience
• Excellent understanding of Último mile and e-commerce logistics
• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
• Effective communication and stakeholder management
• Ability to work under pressure and solve problems quickly
• Strong organization, prioritization, and attention to detail
• Knowledge of digital logistics tools, tracking systems (WMS, TMS, Delivery Apps )
• Continuous improvement mindset and customer-centric focus

4.Qualifications and Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or Business Administration.
• Experience: 4–6 years in logistics or transportation management, with at least 2 years in e-commerce Último mile or parcel delivery.
• Industry: E-commerce, Retail, or FMCG.
• Languages: Fluent in Spanish; Intermediate–Advanced English (oral and written).
• Technical Skills: Advanced Excel (dashboards, pivot tables, data analysis), Power BI or other data visualization tools, Experience with ERP/TMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent)
• Familiarity with tracking and route optimization software
• Willingness to travel within México (up to 20%).
