Drives product design, development, and plant support to launch products effectively and efficiently, as well as grow technical capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Understand internal and external customer design requirements.
• Create design.
• Communicate design.
• Validate design.
• Launch product.
• Utilize PMP to guide Launch Process.
• Capture lessons learned.
• Develop tactical plans to meet deliverables.
• Deliver design within engineering budget and BOM cost targets.
• Communicate effectively both internally and externally.
• Apply structured problem-solving methods for issue resolution.
• Manage program risk.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, or equivalent degree in a technical field (manufacturing, mechanical, chemical, materials science, industrial & operations, etc.)
• 0-4+ years of experience in automotive seating, mechanism or structures.
