Summary: SINBON México is looking for a Buyer/Purchasing Specialist to join our family in San Luis Potosí.This Puesto requires a professional with great competitive spirit, concrete experience in purchasing, and excellent interpersonal skills to communicate with other departments and external suppliers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Procurement and Supplier Management:

• Identifies, acquires, and ensures the availability of materials and supplies using computer systems
• Sources, evaluates, negotiates with, and manage external suppliers
• Reviews purchase order confirmations for accuracy
• Builds and maintains strong supplier relationships to ensure quality, cost efficiency, and on-time delivery

Materials Planning and Inventory Control:

• Ensures availability of raw materials and supplies aligned with production demand
• Analyses current and forecasted needs to anticipate shortages or excess.
• Manages safety stock, excess inventory, and material planning decisions.

Operational Coordination and Order Fulfillment:

• Coordinates with Operation and internal teams to align material supply with production schedules
• Monitors order confirmations, delivery accuracy, and supplier performance
• Follows up on discrepancies to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment

Cross-Functional Collaboration and Reporting

• Collaborates with Operations to align production scheduling
• Follows up with suppliers to ensure material availability
• Maintains an electronic inventory database
• Reports on inventory PPV, excess inventory, and safety stock

Requirements:

• Basic understanding of electronic manufacturing procedures
• 3 years’ work experience in procurement / electronics or automotive background
• Bachelor's Degree in related area (preferred)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to compile information and make decisions
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and MRP/ERP Systems

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Must be able to lift 15 lbs. at a time
