Puesto Objective

The Marketing Intern will support the execution of Better Balance Foods' marketing initiatives across trade marketing, foodservice, digital marketing, creative development, events, and administrative functions. This role is designed to provide hands-on experience in a fast-paced start-up environment while contributing to brand growth, customer engagement, and sales support efforts. Through cross-functional collaboration and project ownership, the intern will develop practical marketing skills and gain exposure to both strategic planning and day-to-day marketing operations.

Responsibilities

Trade Marketing Support

• Assist in the development and execution of retail and foodservice marketing programs.
• Support promotional planning, product launches, and customer-specific marketing initiatives.
• Coordinate marketing materials for distributors, brokers, retailers, and operator partners.
• Help track promotional performance and gather competitive market insights.
• Maintain sales collateral, product information sheets, and trade show materials.

Administrative Support

• Manage marketing calendars, project timelines, and meeting coordination.
• Coordinate production and shipment of printed marketing assets for trade shows, customer meetings, retail programs, and sales initiatives
• Support reporting and data entry for marketing campaigns and partnership programs.
• Coordinate communication between internal teams, agencies, vendors, and partners.

Creative & Brand Support

• Assist in creating presentations, sell sheets, digital assets, and promotional materials.
• Coordinate creative requests with designers and external agencies.
• Ensure brand consistency across all marketing materials and channels.
• Help source content and organize photo and video assets.
• Support event activations, trade shows, and experiential marketing initiatives.

Digital Marketing Support

• Assist with social media content scheduling, monitoring, and reporting.
• Support email marketing campaigns, including content development and deployment.
• Help update website content and maintain digital assets.
• Conduct social media listening and competitive analysis.
• Track digital campaign performance and compile analytics reports.

Skills and Puesto Requirements

• Active student pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Microsoft Office.
• Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills.
• Canva.
• Website Platforms & Adobe Creative Suite (Preferred but not required).
• Proactive, self-motivated, strong communication skills, organized, and creative.
• Expected graduation date: December 2026 or later.
• Advanced English skills (written and spoken).
• Availability to work from 8am - 2pm.
