Role Description This full-time, on-site Call Center Representative role is based in Jalapa, VER. The Call Center Representative will handle inbound and outbound calls related to patient billing, scheduling, and payer follow-up, providing clear, accurate information to patients and payers. Responsibilities include resolving inquiries, documenting call details in internal systems, and escalating complex issues to appropriate teams while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations. The role involves working with computer-based tools to access account information, process updates, and follow standardized scripts and workflows. The representative will contribute to team performance goals, support a positive patient experience, and collaborate closely with supervisors and peers in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
  • Customer service and support skills, including experience as Customer Service Representatives and a focus on Customer Satisfaction.
  • Strong Interpersonal Skills to communicate clearly, show empathy, and build rapport with patients, payers, and colleagues.
  • Customer Support capabilities for managing inquiries, resolving issues, and following up in a professional and timely manner.
  • Computer Literacy, including accurate data entry, use of call center software, and ability to learn new systems and workflows.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in a related field or healthcare environment experience is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in relevant languages for the region (spoken and written), with clear communication and active listening skills.
  • Ability to work on-site in Jalapa, VER on a full-time schedule, with reliability, attention to detail, and adherence to HIPAA and Empresa policies.
  • Experience in healthcare, medical billing, or call center settings is preferred but not required if candidates demonstrate strong potential.
