• Develop and maintain a Service Level Agreement with the divisions.
• Control the accomplishment of guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Carry out periodic audits, to verify customs compliance according to the applicable legislation.
• Manage Annex 24 and Annex 30
• Manage a monthly Customs operations scorecard to verify accomplishment of the internal Customs Compliance guidelines.
• Participate in the destructions, obsolete parts reported and assign the correct customs treatment.
• Support the development of tools to support customs compliance.
• Supports audits of suppliers regarding compliance with Forvia procedures.
• Participate in government audits.
• Manage special border petitions (NOMS, OGA, PGA, licenses, powers of attorney, trade programs, warehousing registry, special permits, etc.)
• Keep control of the legal stay of fixed assets within the plants based in MX region.
• Manage customs recordkeeping activities.
• Migration of special Customs codes in the annex 24 system (F4, F5, BO, BA, H1, K1, A3, etc.)
• Grant compliance of the certification and program initiatives and periodic activities (IMMEX-CIVA, etc)
• Administrate Annex 24/ Annex 30 tools as required by the program regulations including verifications between annex 24 and SAP.
