A Snapshot of Your Day

You start your day reviewing key financial metrics and aligning with cross‑functional teams to ensure forecasts and strategic plans remain accurate and on track. Throughout the day, you lead variance analysis, support monthly close activities, and refine financial models that protect and improve P&L and cash performance. You collaborate closely with operational and project teams, leveraging SAP insights to resolve issues and enhance financial processes. In parallel, you evaluate business cases and develop scenario analyses that translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations for leadership.

How You’ll Make An Impact
  • Build robust financial models and implement planning controls to ensure accuracy, integrity, and alignment of financial and strategic plans.
  • Own/support monthly close (journal entries, GL reconciliations), forecasting, and management reporting to deliver timely, decision‑ready insights.
  • Lead variance analysis versus plan/forecast; integrate market and competitor intelligence; recommend actions to protect/improve P&L, cash, and key KPIs.
  • Evaluate business cases and strategic options with scenario/sensitivity modeling; translate findings into clear, prioritized recommendations and execution plans.
  • Investigate issues across financial and operational systems; design creative, scalable process improvements that align with policies and enhance productivity.
  • Establish and champion standardized frameworks and templates to resolve day‑to‑day conflicts, accelerate decisions, and enable fast, compliant implementation under tight deadlines.
What You Bring
  • Accredited 4‑year degree in Business Administration with emphasis in accounting, finance & economics, or another business related field. Advanced degree work in process either to complete a MBA, CPA, CMA, or other advanced degree such as Masters of Accounting a plus.
  • At least 7‑years working experience in the areas of financial accounting and or project financial accounting emphasizing business processes and results.
  • Candidate must possess detailed knowledge of accounting principles and financial policies/procedures.
  • Candidate must possess detailed knowledge of systems provided by SAP not only in financial reporting but also order entry and project performance.
  • Candidate must have cost accounting, cost controlling, budgeting and planning experience.
  • Candidate must possess strong analytical skills to review market trends, competitor data, and provide the necessary variance analysis to predict outcomes in order to recommend corrective actions.
