Be a part of our journey! **Your day to day** - Lead a multi-disciplined engineering project team in the development of electrical audio and video camera test systems. - The duties will include the design and debug of both digital and analog systems. This Puesto performs hardware engineering work in product design, analysis, debug or manufacturing / third party design support or combination of those areas. - Perform design trade-offs, schematic entry, parts selection, parts list/BOM, specification, test procedures, debug, testing, design reviews, Design Validation Testing, project management, etc. of various electrical/Audio systems - Develop and specify device test conditions. - Verify analog and logic circuit functions working with other devices - Participate in and advance all aspects of electrical design projects, including prototypes and mass production of corded telephone headsets and systems - Detailed electrical and physical design, simulation, design reviews, verification, validation and laboratory test of new and existing products - May be assigned to various electrical engineering projects. May provide technical leadership to a group. - Capable to execute technical projects and lead its implementation - Execute platforms building blocks - Develop creative and novel solutions to technical problems related to this function - Participate in periodic design reviews of projects and pilot builds. - Demonstrate strong and clear accountability for the successful and timely completion of designated tasks and deliverables. - Set priorities for self and contribute to team planning. - Hold and encourage frequent formal and informal communication within the team and the rest of the organization to ensure dissemination of important information - Ensure technical lessons are reviewed, learned and disseminated - Participate in process improvement activities - Actively participate in technical process improvement activities. - May have people reporting to them. - Awareness of the environmental management system and environmental goals and impacts. - Generate and review the technical content of test procedures, drawings, engineering specifications, reports, Engineering Change Orders, and other documentation associated with the design and build of products. - Ability to take initiative, multi-task, and work well under pressure. - Collaborates the Engineering group of new testing requirements, Primero Article testing, Obsolesce and proto-type testing. **What you bring to the team** - Engineering Degree or strong recognized expertise in the field - Work on a strong matrix organization reporting to Project manager and Functional manager - Project management skills - Must have hands-on laboratory experience to test, optimize, and verify the performance of all designs, as well as their components - An understanding DSP operations and principles with experience in dealing with voice and/or audio signal processing techniques - Hands on experience with Engineering Change (EC) processes, BOM structures, and new product introduction processes - Knowledge of test software platform (LabView, C++, Delphi, etc) - Experience managing LabView and other programming languages for testing and - Knowledge of MS Office and electrical simulation software - Knowledge of Six Sigma and any other techniques and tools for process improvement. **Our Culture** At Poly, leadership principles aren't just something we talk about, they're something we live and breathe.
