About the Role

The role involves overseeing the procurement process, ensuring timely delivery of components and materials while maintaining compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the acquisition of components, raw materials, and services for production.
• Negotiate with Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers, ensuring Just-In-Time deliveries.
• Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and ISO 50001 standards.
• Coordinate with engineering, quality, and logistics departments to resolve issues.
• Implement cost-saving strategies, continuous improvement initiatives, and supplier localization efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, International Trade, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in automotive purchasing, including 3 years in a supervisory role.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred).
• Knowledge of trade agreements (USMCA) and customs processes.
• Advanced English is essential (interaction with global suppliers).

Preferred Skills

• Experience in supplier relationship management.
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
