  • Candidates must be willing and able to relocate from México to Alabama, USA.

Your Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in power transformer electrical design.
  • Strong knowledge of transformer design principles, electrical calculations, and analytical software.
  • Experience with IEEE C57, ANSI, and IEC standards.
  • Experience working with utilities, consulting engineers, and EPC customers.
  • Experience with transformer design software such as ACADEM, TRES, ANSYS Maxwell, COMSOL, MATLAB, or equivalent is preferred.
  • Advanced English

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead the electrical design and technical review of large power transformers.
  • Perform calculations related to impedance, losses, short-circuit forces, thermal performance, dielectric design, insulation coordination, and cooling systems.
  • Participate in customer design reviews and provide technical support to utilities and consulting firms.
  • Support factory acceptance tests, root cause analysis, engineering changes, and field technical investigations.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers
