We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to work with various clients at our delivery center in México. Our mission at Apex Systems is providing Insights that Inspire. You will help achieve that mission by giving our clients consultative guidance and technical expertise.

As a Senior Project Manager, you'll have excellent relationship building, leadership, project and team management skills and the ability to deliver business results with quality. You will bring a breadth of experience that will make you a valuable contributing member of the project team and not just a task driver and status provider. Responsibilities:

• Have Strong Experience in Software Lifecycle and Innovative Applications for Software
• Have experience with Agile methodologies running scrum and well versed with JIRA
• As a Project Manager, you'll take the lead as you work with both internal and external stakeholders ensuring all milestones are tracked and reported.
• The ability to speak cogently, possess strong business acumen and ability to influence cross-collaborative teams are essential for these roles.
• Plan, schedule, estimate, coordinate, manage, and deliver the projects within our waterfall and agile hybrid delivery methodologies
• Ensure development and project processes are followed for successful implementations (for planning, implementation, testing) and ensure that exceptions to the process be transparent with risks understood and approved at appropriate organizational levels
• Oversee the daily progress of the eCommerce store digital projects with regard to time, budget, scope, and quality
• Understand downstream impact of issues and effectively and proactively inform and escalate to key stakeholders
• Proactively and aggressively manage project risk and issues; defining mitigation efforts.
• Represent the PMO and PMO expectations within the project team

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of proven experience in project performance.
• Experience with Agile project delivery methodologies
• Strong communication skills – will be interacting with technical stakeholders and cross functional team members throughout the organization
• Documentation and project tracking skills – Must have used some sort of PM tool like Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, etc.
• PM skills – Experience with project financials, project timelines, sprint planning, business stakeholder management, etc.
• Experience managing all core components of project delivery (scope, activities, risks, financials, benefits, stakeholders, reporting).
• Extensive experience working across business functions to adopt and improve internal organizational performance management solutions, driving efficient delivery of best outcomes for the project and organization.
• Ability to identify, develop, implement, and track metrics, measurements, and OKRs/KPIs for understanding performance against targets, industry peers, competitors, and objectives.
• Strong understanding and experience with application development, system implementation, and project/product lifecycles, including their associated opportunities and limitations.
• Knowledge and experience around testing practices, having basic understanding of manual test plans and best practices.
• Experience leading and managing teams, with a focus on developing team members and promoting their growth.
• Ability to simplify complex processes and create innovative solutions.
• English proficiency level C1 or higher is a requirement.
