TCS is seeking skill professionals for a VMware Admin Sr.

Job summary:

• Conversational English (interviews will be conducted in this language)
• Hands on Experience on VMware ESXi 5.X, 6.X, 7.X
• Experience in P2V, V2V, VMotion and Administration of VMware virtual center.
• Good hands-on command line of ESXi.
• Good hands-on Experience in diagnostics & troubleshooting of ESXi server environment.
• Good understanding of HA and DRS in vSphere environment.
• Experience in performance tuning of VMWare servers and Virtual sessions and management of servers resources between virtual machines.
• Managing & troubleshooting of ESXi Servers and vCetnter servers.
• Administration & Management of Virtual Machines, Clusters with HA and DRS enabled environment.
• Monitoring and configuration capacity issues in VMware environment.
• Installing/upgrading and configuring ESXi servers, vCtenter serers, SRM, vROPS etc.
• Configuring and managing Virtual Network using Standard & Distributed Switch.
• Updating ESXi hosts with latest patches through update manager.
• Creating and managing resource pools in the virtual environment.
• Creating Templates, Clone and Deploying VMs from Templates.
• Creating and configuration Virtual Machines.
• Administration working knowledge on different Windows OS platforms (Windows Server 2012R2, 2016, 2019), OS configuration on different roles - Domain DNS DHCP IIS WSUS - configuration and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of - Disk & Storage File & Print Server Management Terminal Services RAID Administration NTFS.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows failover Cluster installation and configuration.
• Performance fine-tuning on OS level.
• Knowledge of Server RAID configurations.
• Working knowledge of File Server along with NTFS permissions.
• Working knowledge of Print Server.
• Working knowledge of FTP & SFTP services.
• Understanding and good working knowledge of Active Directory, Group policies and DNS services.
• Hands on experience on HP Servers, Dell Servers, Cisco UCS, Nutanix. Manage and configure ILO, DRAC, UCS manager.
• Working knowledge on Patch Management tool like SCCM, WSUS
• Knowledge and experience on automation scripts like Python, and tools like Ansible, Terraform or Puppet
