About the Role

Our client, a leading Mexican manufacturing group in the food industry, is seeking a Director of Operations to join its executive leadership team. This is a critical role responsible for driving operational excellence, profitability, and sustainable business growth.

We are looking for a highly strategic and analytical leader with experience in complex industrial environments, capable of scaling operations, optimizing performance, and delivering consistent results across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead and optimize day-to-day operations, including production, logistics, quality, and administration
• Define and execute the operational strategy aligned with business objectives
• Drive performance improvements through KPIs and operational metrics
• Manage the operational budget and ensure efficient alUbicación of resources
• Lead cross-functional initiatives and strategic projects
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives
• Partner with the executive team to support long-term growth strategy

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field
• 5–10 years of experience in operations within a manufacturing environment
• Strong experience managing production plants, ideally in the food industry
• Background in leading companies such as Grupo Bimbo, Sigma Alimentos, PepsiCo, Nestlé, Grupo Herdez, or similar organizations
• Solid understanding of supply chain, manufacturing processes, and operational excellence
• Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills
• Highly analytical, results-driven, and strategic thinker
