Your Role
As a Logistics Specialist at Phillips Medisize, you will directly contribute to the operation and control of the Logistics function within the Materials department, ensuring compliance across import, export, and virtual foreign trade operations. Your role will be critical to guaranteeing timely plant supply, adherence to current customs regulations, and a high level of service to both internal and external customers.
Our Team
You will be part of the Materials / Logistics team, which is responsible for the plant’s end-to-end supply chain. The team coordinates inbound and outbound flows of raw materials, spare parts, and supplies, as well as foreign trade, customs, and domestic and international transportation operations. This role works collaboratively with Production, Purchasing, Warehouse, Shipping, Security, suppliers, carriers, and customs brokers.
What You Will Do
  • Execute import operations in compliance with the Customs Law, its annexes, and applicable regulations, including electronic customs value declarations.
  • Collect, validate, and maintain purchase orders, proof of payment, contracts, and supporting documentation required by customs authorities.
  • Carry out export operations, ensuring compliance with legal and customer requirements from request receipt through shipment release.
  • Manage virtual foreign trade operations with customers and suppliers, including reconciliations and internal reporting.
  • Build and maintain electronic foreign trade files to support audit readiness and regulatory compliance (legally compliant digital records).
  • Use SAP/ERP systems to generate reports and reconcile material receipts and customer deliveries.
  • Consolidate and follow up on proofs of delivery and perform monthly reconciliations with customers and suppliers.
  • Administer and control customs broker and transportation provider invoices, as well as record and track operational expenses.
  • Coordinate domestic and international transportation, including pickup scheduling and operational follow-up.
  • Prepare Excel-based reports (intermediate level) for expense control, recordkeeping, and operational analysis.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
  • Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Customs, or a related field.
  • 3 to 4 years of experience in foreign trade, import, and/or export roles.
  • Strong knowledge of foreign trade regulations, Customs Law, trade agreements, non-tariff regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with electronic customs value declarations and supporting documentation management.
  • Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP systems and intermediate-level Excel for reporting and reconciliations.
  • English proficiency with the ability to communicate on technical topics and hold professional conversations.

What Will Put You Ahead
  • Experience in risk management and compliance, aimed at preventing fines, audits, or operational delays.
  • Knowledge of restricted goods identification, NOMs, and special regulatory requirements.
  • Experience performing customer and supplier reconciliations in virtual operations.
  • Availability to work rotating shifts and travel occasionally (preferred).
  • A strong sense of accountability, document discipline, and service orientation.
