ROLE PURPOSE

We are seeking a País CFO to lead finance for our México operation, one of the group's core markets. You will own local financial performance, funding execution, regulatory compliance, and reporting, operating within the group's global frameworks and partnering closely with the Global CFO and the País Manager

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Financial management & reporting

  • Own México's P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow; deliver accurate, timely reporting under local GAAP and group IFRS.
  • Lead local month-end close and feed consolidation to group on schedule.
  • Manage the relationship with local external auditors and ensure audit readiness.

Funding & treasury (local execution)

  • Execute and manage local funding facilities (bank lines, local debt) in coordination with group treasury and the Global CFO.
  • Manage local liquidity, cash Puestoing, and FX/peso exposure.
  • Maintain relationships with local banks, lenders, and financial counterparties.

Regulatory, tax & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with Mexican financial regulation (CNBV, Condusef, Banxico, SAT) as applicable to the entity's licenses and activity.
  • Lead local tax strategy, statutory filings, and transfer-pricing compliance with group.
  • Liaise with local regulators and authorities.

Planning & analytics

  • Lead local budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis; align with group targets.
  • Drive unit-economics analytics — LTV/CAC, cohort profitability, loan-loss provisioning — in partnership with risk.

Business partnering & controls

  • Act as primary financial advisor to the México País Manager and as the Global CFO's trusted lead in-market.
  • Strengthen local internal controls, governance, and finance operations.
  • Build and develop the local finance team.

Highly motivated self-starter; ability to initiate and manage projects with minimal supervision

and problem resolution skills

Knowledge/Abilities:

Accounting, finance and tax Knowledge

IFRS Knowledge is a must.

Strong ability to analyze processes, enact change, and think operationally and strategically to achieve business goals.

High level of proficiency with Microsoft Excel and comfortable working within a consolidation software system.

Able to work effectively as a business partner within a larger client framework.

Ability to work with and influence people at all levels of the organization.

Ability to develop treasury, financial and operational models.

Ability to navigate through complex issues, interpret and transform financial data into recommendations to senior leadership.

Ability to work independently and as a team member with excellent interpersonal skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Finance or Accounting required.
  • 2-5 years of experience in finance and treasury, will be a plus in the same industry.
